We are a group of amateur historians interested in how ordinary people lived rather than the great topics of national and political history.
Having spent two years studying the Victorian and two years looking at life between the wars, we are now branching out into all eras and subjects as it was felt this would give us more scope. We meet once a month, usually at The Ash Centre, and would welcome more members. Please phone before coming to a meeting just in case we have changed the arrangements.
