Welcome to the Ash U3A

The U3A University of the Third Age) is an international association of independent groups of people, retired or semi-retired, who keep mind and body in trim following interests and activities together. There is no lower age limit for joining and, as long as you are no longer in full-time paid employment, you will be welcome.

Over 800 U3As have been formed throughout the UK, and many other countries have similar organisations. The web site of the national organisation for the UK, the Third Age Trust, is http://www.u3a.org.uk/

Ash U3A began in 2000 and has a membership of approaching 300.

Our meetings are held at the following locations: - The Ash Centre, Ash Hill Road,
St. Peter’s Centre, Ash Church Road,
  Victoria Hall, Ash Hill Road,
  or in members’ homes.

A monthly meeting is held, usually at St. Peter's Centre on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 2.30pm, with a guest speaker or other activity. Please come along to sample a meeting and meet members, free of charge.

If you are interested in finding out more about us, please contact Eileen Monds Description: Welcome screen, who can send you an information pack.
A membership application form can also be printed off by clicking here.
N.B. It opens in a new window and the document appears to be on its side so it will print as a landscape A4 page without the need for a printer change.

Ash U3A tries to keep the cost to the individual member to a minimum by collecting an annual fee of just £10, which covers central admin costs and a capitation fee to the Third Age Trust. Some activity groups, however, may need additional funding to cover the cost of hall hire, materials, etc.
